Reviews

Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra performed for our 5th anniversary celebration here at the beautiful Carson Center in Paducah , KY. Wow, what a big band! These guys put on one amazing program! The sound, look and presence of the group were absolutely fantastic and professional in every way. They entertained a very distinguished audience during dinner and ended the evening with the whole crowd dancing the night away. Jeremy Davis and this crew were considerate, flexible and caring. I would highly recommend Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra to anyone looking for something special.

A real class act! Undoubtedly the best concert I’ve attended in years. Just the right mix of jazz, ballads, pop and traditional favorites performed by a superbly polished orchestra. I found myself totally caught up in the big band experience.

Jeremy Davis & The Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra

Equinox Jazz covers the bases of America’s greatest art from…Jazz! We provide everything from Jazz Trios and all the way up to our main focus, the Big Band. The Equinox Jazz Orchestra is a 17 piece ensemble that features some of the South’s greatest vocalists and performs the music of the Great American Songbook with a sprinkling of Motown, Funky New Orleans and an emphasis on Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble, Brian Setzer, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Johnny Mercer, Tony Bennett and many more. Jeremy Davis, the passionate leader and tenor sax player is also the immediate past President of the Friends of Johnny Mercer in Savannah Georgia. Our goal…to entertain and enrich the lives of music lovers everywhere. Equinox started in Monroe, Louisiana and in September of 05’ expanded to Savannah Georgia to start a second operation.

Dr. Hoppy Hallman is the band arranger and musical director. Hoppy worked as a script doctor on dozens of major Disney projects including Rodger Rabbit, The Whole Nine Yards, Dick Tracy, Arachnophobia and The Little Mermaid just to name a few. Hoppy also has conducted for A list artist ranging from Vanessa Williams to Rick James. What does that mean to you?...that means we can offer custom musical arrangements for your function that are not available anywhere else. We can even ad a full string section to the big band orchestra!
